Frequently asked questions
What counts as an "AI ticket"?
Every session upload (video recording or screenshot) that is processed by our AI counts as one ticket. Ticket creation in Jira, Slack, or other integrations is unlimited and does not count toward your quota.
What happens when I exceed my monthly quota?
Free plan: uploads are blocked after 25 tickets (one grace upload allowed). Starter and Pro plans: uploads continue at $0.10 per ticket. There is no hard cap on paid plans — your usage is uncapped and billed at the end of the month. We'll send a warning email when you're nearing your limit.
Can I add unlimited teammates?
Yes — all plans include unlimited users. Only the AI ticket count limits usage, not the number of people on your workspace.
Is there a free trial of paid plans?
The Free plan gives you 25 AI tickets to experience the product. Upgrade when you need more — no time-limited trial required.
What is overage billing?
On Starter and Pro, if you exceed your monthly ticket quota, additional tickets are billed at $0.10 each and added to your next invoice. You'll receive an email when overage begins so there are no surprises. There is no monthly ceiling on overage charges — if your team runs automated uploads (e.g. CI pipelines), consider an Enterprise plan with a fixed custom quota.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel from your billing settings at any time. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. You won't be charged again after cancelling.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades both take effect immediately. Starter→Pro upgrades include a prorated charge for the remainder of your billing cycle. Pro→Starter downgrades take effect right away — note that sessions older than 30 days will be permanently deleted within 24 hours of the plan change, since Pro retains sessions for 1 year and Starter retains for 30 days.
Can I remove the "Powered by BugRepro" badge from my tickets?
Yes — the badge only appears on tickets created by Free plan workspaces. Upgrade to Starter or Pro and your Jira and Slack tickets will be badge-free.
How does data retention work?
Recordings are automatically soft-deleted after your plan's retention window (30 days for Free/Starter, 1 year for Pro). You'll receive an email warning before deletion. Upgrade to Pro to preserve your recordings for a full year.
Do you offer refunds?
We don't offer refunds for partial months. If you're not satisfied, cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. Contact support if you have questions.
